Responsibilities
Perform scheduled preventative maintenance (PM), DOT inspections and follow-up repairs on light, medium and heavy-duty vehicles in a mobile/field environment. Perform minor adjustments and repairs on various truck equipment including electrical, brake, cooling systems, starters/alternators, engine electronics, diesel steering, engines (gas and diesel), transmissions, clutches, differentials, and related components. Diagnose, adjust, and repair electrical, brake, cooling, engine electronics, air conditioning systems, steering, transmissions, clutches, and other truck equipment as needed. Inspect, test, and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions using test instruments (handheld computers, pressure gauges). Road test vehicles to diagnose malfunctions and ensure proper operation. Identify problems, assess information for accuracy, and generate/evaluate alternatives with sound judgment. Independently manage parts inventory and equipment on the company-issued service truck and perform periodic reconciliation. Maintain and operate the company-issued service vehicle, perform safety checks, and conduct pre-/post-trip inspections. Work with clients to assess needs, provide information or assistance, resolve problems, and meet expectations. Manage concurrent tasks with effective prioritization and time management. Use hand tools, precision instruments, Diesel tools, welding equipment, lifts and jacks. Document work according to company standards and upload photos of work performed, parts used, and findings on Repair Orders using the TRAIT application on an iOS device. Complete DOT forms and other documentation in a timely manner. Work with a high degree of independence and manage own daily schedule. Maintain productivity and operate within or close to standard repair times. Obtain parts from approved local and national vendors as needed for repairs. Communicate with management and support teams to obtain approvals for repair estimates, retrieve purchase order numbers, and discuss RO findings. Perform all work in compliance with safety, health and environmental policies and applicable regulations (OSHA, EPA, and DOT). Maintain the company-issued service truck and conduct safety checks and daily pre-/post-trip inspections. Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' related experience; or alternative combinations such as higher-level degree/certification in a related discipline; or 5 years' related experience. At least 3 years of experience with refrigerated equipment. Possess and provide a set of hand tools necessary to perform job duties. OEM training and certifications are preferred. Ase L2 preferred but not required. Participate in and complete all required company training. DOT regulations compliance: able to pass pre-employment background screening and DOT physical; DOT medical card may be substituted under conditions described in the original posting. Must be at least 21 years old due to interstate regulations; valid driver’s license and ability to obtain/maintain a Driver Qualification File. Required Certifications Or Obtained Within 18 Months

Hourly base pay rate is $31.49 - $47.26/hour. The hourly base rate may vary based on location and candidate qualifications. Position may be eligible for additional compensation such as commissions or incentive programs. Benefits
Employees are eligible for a minimum of 6.67 hours of paid time off per month and seven paid holidays per year, plus various other leave benefits (bereavement, voting, jury duty, volunteer time off, military leave, parental leave).
