Bilingual Licensed Mental Health Therapist (IIC) - Needed in Essex County
Neuropath Behavioral Healthcare is hiring bilingual licensed mental health therapists in Essex County to provide in‑home and center‑based therapeutic services for youth.
Pay Range Base pay: $45.00/hr – $75.00/hr

Our approach is strengths‑based, culturally competent, and individualized.
Key Responsibilities
Provide individual in‑home therapy, group therapy sessions, telehealth therapy, and outpatient center sessions.
Perform bio‑psycho‑social assessments (if qualified).
Teach coping and social skills, anger management, and reduce risk behaviors such as self‑injurious behavior or physical aggression.
Improve youth and caretaker decision‑making skills to manage in‑home behavioral challenges.
Collaborate consistently with the Child Family Treatment Team and other professionals.
Submit required documentation and paperwork on time (intake, treatment plan, DAP notes, etc.).
Attend monthly meetings and submit mandatory clinical documentation.
Complete or train for bio‑psycho‑social assessments if not yet qualified.
Requirements
Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Family Therapy, or related fields (e.g., LSW, LAC, LFT).
Clinical mental health trauma counseling training.
Training or willingness to complete crisis intervention training.
Post‑internship field experience working with youth with mental health disorders.
Experience with treatment planning, goal setting, progress notes, and initial assessments.
Knowledge of DSM‑V for assessments and diagnosis.
Experience using CBT, REBT, Gestalt, DBT, and trauma‑focused approaches.
Availability 6–10 hours per week after school (12 pm–8 pm); weekend flexibility a plus.
Experience providing positive behavior supports.
Experience working with children ages 3–20; experience with I/DD a plus.
Valid driver’s license and registered vehicle.
Background check, including fingerprinting.
Resume, master’s degree copy, and NJ or relevant license.
Authorized to work in the U.S.; no visa sponsorship.
State reciprocity considered; commute ≤25–30 min to service areas.
