Registered Nurse delivers high‑quality patient‑centered care in collaboration with providers and the care team. The RN follows nursing models (Assess, Perform, Teach, Manage), advocates for patients and families, and models the organization’s values to achieve superior patient experience and clinical outcomes. Responsibilities
Performs procedures, monitoring, or functions as ordered by the medical provider(s); documents care in the medical record promptly and thoroughly. Teaches patients/families/caregivers about medical condition, status, treatment plan, medications, side effects, and follow‑up measures; translates complex terminology to ensure complete understanding. Prepares patients and families for future self‑management by teaching healthy diet, exercise, disease prevention, and lifestyle changes. Manages evidence‑based practices and continuous improvement initiatives to meet and exceed quality measures and enhance care. Collaborates with a multidisciplinary team to coordinate, evaluate, customize, and deliver a holistic patient treatment plan that promotes recovery. Qualifications
Registered Nurse (RN) license. Associate Degree in Nursing. Minimum 1 year ICU experience. Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification obtained within 6 months of employment start date. Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification obtained within 30 days of employment start date. Program Requirements
Seasonal employees work a minimum of 72 hours per pay period during the seasonal period. Employee may be asked to float to another facility with an emergent staffing need. Four weekend shifts required each 4‑week schedule period. Two holiday shifts required during the 32‑week period as defined by Department Manager. Seasonal staff are PRN status, subject to first call‑off; no guaranteed hours. Seasonal staff eligible for 401(k) and retirement contribution per PRN policy; not eligible for extra shift bonuses. Seasonal staff must pass the clinical competency evaluation. Current employees not eligible to join the Seasonal program for 2025‑26. Benefits
