The role is hands-on and demanding, with responsibilities focused on executing the Wolfoods Camp Food Service Program, knowledge of food allergens, and the ability to create dishes for various dietary restrictions. May–September season across summer camp kitchens. Wolfoods operates summer camp kitchens across the country between May and September. All culinary staff will live on site at the job location; room, board, and travel assistance are provided. This position requires the ability to flawlessly execute the Wolfoods Camp Food Service Program; knowledge of food allergens and the ability to create dishes for multiple dietary restrictions is essential. A focus on planning, recipe execution, sanitation, cross-contact prevention, and effective communication with children, staff, and guests is required. Responsibilities

Controls inventory Assists in assembling orders to be placed Project management Communicates effectively with campers, staff, and parents Upholds Wolfoods standards of service and quality Understands food safety as it pertains to special diet food preparation for allergies or sensitivities Maintains accurate timing, quantity, and quality of meals; ensures proper plating Supervises personnel and supports staff in kitchen and dining hall Plans, schedules, directs, and trains team members Manages inventory, par levels, and procurement needs Recognizes and maintains Health Department sanitation standards May act as front of house supervisor in the absence of other Wolfoods staff Performs safe special diet and allergen food production Qualifications and Requirements

2+ years of commercial kitchen experience Minimum three professional references required with application submission Proficient in relevant skills related to the role Quality-driven; self-motivated; able to work under pressure Maintain a clean work environment; uphold Health Department standards Able to lead a team and take direction Minimum 6-day, 70-hour work week Must live on-site in a rural setting with the possibility of shared living spaces Ability to stand for long periods; able to lift and carry at least 50 pounds Must be able to bend, stretch, and reach for extended periods ServSafe Allergens Certification required before start (company sponsored) Ability to identify the Big 9 allergens and communicate effectively Ability to cook from scratch with minimal supervision Ability to adapt a menu to multiple dietary needs Ideal Candidates Are
