Crain Kia of Fayetteville is seeking a
Sales Manager
who leads by example, develops people daily, and protects process on the sales floor. This role is for a manager who understands that results come from
consistent training, active leadership, and disciplined inventory execution
— not just desking deals.
What This Role Is Really About: Being
present on the floor
and actively coaching sales staff throughout the day
Reinforcing and training a clear, repeatable sales process
Holding salespeople and leadership peers accountable to standards and activity
Supporting used‑vehicle execution through strong recon awareness and follow‑up
Balancing desk responsibility with floor leadership
Key Responsibilities: Sales Training & Coaching Coach sales consultants daily at the point of contact — not just after the fact
Support onboarding and development of new hires
Help salespeople improve confidence, structure, and closing discipline
Leadership & Accountability Set clear expectations for sales staff and enforce them consistently
Monitor floor activity, customer flow, and engagement levels
Ensure guest sheets, CRM notes, and follow‑up standards are met
Step into deals early to support customers and protect gross
Participate in opening and closing duties, including team check‑ins and check‑outs
Used Vehicle & Reconditioning Awareness Partner with used car leadership, service, and recon teams
Understand recon status, aging, and frontline readiness
Help ensure clean handoffs, accurate RO stories, and timely approvals
Support inventory turn by keeping vehicles moving from recon to frontline
What We’re Looking For: Prior experience as a Sales Manager or Senior Sales Leader
Strong passion for
training and developing people
Comfortable holding others accountable while maintaining culture
Working knowledge of used vehicle processes and reconditioning flow
Organized, disciplined, and process‑driven
Professional communication and leadership style
