Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site role for an Outpatient Therapist located in Portland, ME. The Outpatient Therapist will provide individual, group, and family therapy to a diverse client base. Responsibilities include conducting comprehensive assessments, creating and implementing treatment plans, maintaining accurate documentation, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The role also includes participating in clinical meetings and contributing to client care planning.
Qualifications
Proficiency in conducting therapeutic sessions, including individual, group, and family therapy
Expertise in assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning Strong communication, active listening, and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in documentation and maintaining client records
Ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, or a related field, with proper licensure in the state of Maine (e.g., LCSW, LCPC, LMFT)
Commitment to upholding ethical therapeutic practices and a client-centered approach
Experience with trauma-informed care and evidence-based therapeutic modalities is a plus
