As an Environmental Senior Project Manager at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) in Pittsburgh, PA, you will be responsible for managing current clients and developing new business. You will lead project teams tasked with providing a variety of environmental services such as environmental assessments, subsurface investigations, soil and water remediation projects, and environmental permitting and compliance. You will provide senior direction on projects for real estate, manufacturing, public sector, oil and gas, electric power generation/transmission, and waste management clients, and will review the quality of work produced by others. You will develop proposals and project budgets; ensure compliance with CEC’s safety policies; manage technical staff, project financials, and subcontractors; perform quality assurance duties and project‑related administrative tasks; evaluate and interpret data; prepare reports; and drive business development efforts.

Qualifications
15+ years’ experience in environmental consulting, with minimum 10 years in Project Management.
B.S./M.S. in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Hydrogeology, Environmental Science, or related field.
Professional license P.E. or P.G. a plus.
Thorough understanding of state and federal environmental regulations (e.g., RCRA, Act 2, CERCLA, CWA, etc.).
Expertise in environmental site assessment and remediation, ability to interpret data and communicate findings to clients.
Demonstrated experience managing projects, budgeting, cost control, and meeting deadlines.
Experience supervising technical staff.
Experience in proposal development, scope of service, budget, schedule, and safe project execution.
Active participation in client- and professional-development organizations.
Established contacts in Real Estate, Oil & Gas, Mining, Power, Public Sector, Waste Management, and Manufacturing markets.
Demonstrated business development and client‑management experience required.
Groundwater modeling experience a plus.
Location Pittsburgh, PA. Applicants will have an option to work in either our Moon Township or Monroeville office locations.
