Responsibilities
Payroll Processing : Manage multi-state and prevailing wage payroll using ADP, Paylocity, or Paychex.
Accurately calculate wages, overtime, deductions, and benefits.
Handle payroll for U.S. and Canadian employees.
Compliance & Reporting : Prepare and file payroll tax returns and statutory reports.
Maintain meticulous records for audits and reporting.
Identify automation opportunities and streamline workflows.
Partner with Finance on reconciliations and month-end reporting.
Qualifications
Education & Experience : Accounting degree or equivalent experience.
5+ years of certified payroll experience (multi-state preferred).
Technical Skills : Proficiency in ADP, Paylocity, Concur, or similar systems.
Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and prevailing wage laws (knowing prevailing wage is a plus!).
Core Competencies : Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy.
Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Integrity in handling sensitive financial data.
