Payroll Specialist

What You’ll Do
Payroll Processing:
Manage multi-state and prevailing wage payroll using ADP, Paylocity, or Paychex. Accurately calculate wages, overtime, deductions, and benefits. Handle payroll for U.S. and Canadian employees.
Compliance & Reporting:
Prepare and file payroll tax returns and statutory reports. Maintain meticulous records for audits and reporting.
Process Improvement:
Identify automation opportunities and streamline workflows. Partner with Finance on reconciliations and month-end reporting.
What We’re Looking For
Education & Experience:
Accounting degree or equivalent experience. 5+ years of certified payroll experience (multi-state preferred).
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in ADP, Paylocity, Concur, or similar systems. Strong knowledge of payroll tax regulations and prevailing wage laws (knowing prevailing wage is a plus!)
Core Competencies:
Detail-oriented with a passion for accuracy. Ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Integrity in handling sensitive financial data.
