Description TEKsystems has a client looking to bring on cable technicians who need to be available to help pull cable and terminate keystone‑style jacks at a large construction site in Austin, Texas.

Responsibilities

Pulling, terminating and testing Cat5/6 and fiber optic cables

Installing other cabling infrastructure (racks, cabinets, etc.)

Installing network racks and cabinets in server rooms

Reviewing all job documentation for assigned projects, including floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, conduit call‑outs, wall elevations, signal flow diagrams, and cable pull schedules

Physical requirements: regularly stand, climb, walk, sit, push, pull, squat, crawl, stoop; use hands to handle objects and type; reach with hands and arms; talk and hear; require close/distance vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Use of power tools required. Occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.

Job Type & Location Contract to Hire position based out of Austin, TX.

Pay and Benefits The pay range is $20.00–$21.00 per hour.
