Territory Development Manager - Miami, FL Unilever Food Solutions (UFS)

is a €3bn+ foodservice division of Unilever, leading dynamic Food Service markets and accelerating digital transformation across 72 countries.

Location Remote – Miami, FL

Compensation & Benefits Pay:

$69,360 – $104,040 per year.

Purpose of the Role Drive sustainable business growth through Operator, Chain, and Trade Partner engagement. Plan and execute multi‑touchpoint contact strategies to generate demand for UFS products and deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Key Activities

Convert business insights into activation solution selling.

Create concept solution selling from market trends.

Lead customers to the right solution.

Network with key stakeholders to engage decision makers.

Prepare visits with solution recommendations and manage workflow in Salesforce.

Conduct F2F and virtual sampling, ideation, cooking demos.

Follow up on previous calls to move opportunities toward close.

Secure and coordinate customer orders each month.

Meet with distributors/trade partners to expand assortment and source leads.

Build and nurture relationships with local distributor sales reps.

Implement contact matrix for key trade customers with a squad approach.

Engage trade customers for secondary sales data.

Implement promotions tied to season and events.

Ensure timely submission of claims.

Critical Skills Required

Hunter mindset with 70% hunting vs 30% farming.

Fast adopter of contemporary technology, including AI; proficient in MS Office, Power BI, Excel.

Entrepreneurial, proactive in creating mutually beneficial solutions.

Curious and continuously learning market trends.

Ability to sell premium brands with storytelling and culinary solutions.

Bilingual advantage (Spanish, Mandarin).

Essential Experiences

CPG foodservice B2B sales experience.

Chef or culinary selling experience.

Existing network of foodservice operator partners.

Distributor, ingredient, or broker sales experience.CRM (Salesforce) experience.

Operator experience.

Market/geographic knowledge.

Food University background (CIA, Food & Hospitality).

Multi‑national corporate experience with understanding of corporate workflows.
