Location Crisis – Peoria Recovery Response Center, Peoria, AZ
Salary $40.00 – $45.00 per hour

Summary of Job The Registered Nurse (RN) position oversees the medical, psychiatric, substance‑abuse, and nursing care for individuals served. The RN also serves as a clinical liaison for designated individuals until they are enrolled in services at another community facility.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Guest Care & Advocacy:
Coordinate services with public and private community health, mental health, and social service agencies to ensure appropriate services.
Assist individuals with preparation and recording of the service‑planning process.
Conduct assessments and treatment plans.
Provide individual and family counseling.
Participate in development of educational curriculum.
Supervise and/or provide nursing treatment and monitoring (e.g., diabetes, blood pressure).
Respond to crisis calls for assessment and intervention as needed.
Coordinate relationships with outside medical and nursing support services, including pharmacy and laboratory services.
Compliance & Risk Management:
Administer medication as required by protocol.
Complete clinical documentation as required.
Stay abreast of federal, state regulations, and Recovery Innovations policies.
Understand and adhere to Recovery Innovations compliance standards.
Cross‑Functional Collaboration:
Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to improve productivity, efficiency, recovery outcomes, and medical care.
Additional Duties:
Perform other related duties assigned.

Job Requirements
Education/Licenses:
Graduation from an accredited School of Nursing as a Registered Nurse (Bachelor’s preferred).
Valid and current state‑specific Nursing license (Compact licensure preferred).
Experience:
Minimum of one (1) year working in a behavioral health setting.
Skills:
Knowledge of psychiatric medications, indications, side effects, and interactions.
Basic computer skills.
Attention to detail.
Problem‑solving ability.
Assessment and treatment planning capability.
Verbal and written communication skills.
Effective listening skills.
Excellent documentation skills.
Trauma‑informed care experience preferred.
Bilingual preferred.
Ability to pass state‑defined de‑escalation training.
Driving Requirements:
If driving is required, meet all Recovery Innovations driving policy requirements.
If not qualified, sign a Non‑Driver Attestation form.
Miscellaneous Requirements:
Travel may be required based on business need.
Must be at least 18 years old (or 21 for certain state addenda).
Complete all credentialing process requirements.
Maintain confidentiality under HIPAA guidelines.
Second‑chance employer: must pass background, substance‑abuse, education verification, fingerprinting, and motor‑vehicle checks as required.
Physical Demands Work close to the eyes and substantial wrist, hand, and finger motions. Frequent sitting, standing, walking, handling. Eye‑hand‑foot coordination required. May lift up to 20 pounds.
Work Environment Office or behavioral health facility; may interact with agitated or confused individuals. Travel throughout the region may be required.
