Pharmacy Cashier – Walgreens
Join as a Pharmacy Cashier at Walgreens and help deliver a friendly, efficient customer experience. Pay is based on skills and experience. Base Pay Range
Salary Range:
$16.00 – $18.00 / Hour Key Responsibilities
Model courteous, friendly, and efficient checkout service while registering sales on the assigned cash register. Process customer purchases, collect cash, distribute change, and handle voids, returns, refunds, and exchanges as needed. Recommend items for sale and assist with over‑the‑counter products, offering help proactively and guiding customers to aisles when possible. Operate pharmacy systems to obtain patient prescription status and report prescription errors to the pharmacist on duty. Maintain clean counters and shelves, keep inventory, and manage displays, including promotional and seasonal merchandise. Follow company policies, asset protection procedures, and state/local laws regarding regulated products. Assist with store maintenance and collaborate respectfully with coworkers. Essential Qualifications
Fluency in reading, writing, and speaking English. Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. Preferred Qualifications
