Base Pay Range
$158.00/hr - $230.00/hr
Job Overview Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Queens, NY. You will help children with special needs reach their goals through evaluations and ongoing therapeutic services in community and clinic settings. Your work will span the Bronx, Manhattan, Queens, Brooklyn, Staten Island, Hudson Valley, Long Island, Albany, Virginia/DC, Maryland, New Jersey, Connecticut, and Delaware.
Job Responsibilities
Administer Psychological Evaluations in home and/or school based settings
Gather necessary information to conduct social histories
Write comprehensive evaluation reports and social histories and submit them in a timely manner
Write Individualized Educational Plan (IEP) and/or Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) goals
Determine need for additional assessment per observation and child need
Conduct evaluations in the primary language of the child
Maintain child records and confidentiality of information regarding children and families (in accordance with HIPAA, state and federal regulations). Required records must be submitted within the established timelines
Requirements
Must have a passion for working with children and families
NYS Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Experience evaluating children birth - 5 preferred but not required
Familiar with using evaluation tools such as ADOS 2 or CARS 2
EI Evaluations program requires completion of the EILN Intro and Advanced Assessment trainings
Must be self‑motivated and a team player who exercises patience and professionalism
Fluency in a language other than English is a plus
Physical Requirements
Must be able to travel to and from assigned cases, including but not limited to: driving a personal vehicle, walking and/or using public transportation such as a bus or train
The ability to ascend and descend staircases
The ability to lift 10 pounds regularly
The ability to sit on the floor, kneel and/or crawl for extended periods of time
