A highly respected and established law firm in Omaha is seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join their accomplished legal team. Position Summary:
The ideal Litigation Paralegal will have experience handling civil litigation matters from case inception through trial. The position requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced setting and is comfortable juggling multiple priorities with precision.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive support to attorneys throughout all phases of the litigation process
Draft, review, and organize legal documents including pleadings, discovery, and correspondence
Manage case files, deadlines, and calendars
Assist with trial preparation including exhibit lists, trial notebooks, and witness coordination
Perform legal research and summarize findings
File documents with state and federal courts using electronic filing systems
Qualifications:
3+ years of experience as a Litigation Paralegal or in a similar legal support role
Familiarity with court rules, procedures, and filing requirements
Strong proficiency in legal software and Microsoft Office Suite
Excellent organizational, communication, and analytical skills
Paralegal certificate or relevant academic background preferred
