Job Responsibilities
Execute scheduled and ad-hoc cycle counts, pick-path verifications, and bin audits to ensure real-time inventory accuracy
Research, reconcile, and process exception orders and receipts in the Warehouse Management System (WMS)
Collect and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to drive process improvements and mitigate risks
Mentor team members on WMS best practices and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve complex issues
Identify opportunities for process optimization and lead or support continuous improvement initiatives
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in a transaction-intensive warehouse or distribution center environment
Proficient in operating material-handling equipment and common office tools, including Excel and Word
Strong analytical mindset with the ability to recognize trends and recommend corrective actions
Demonstrated leadership and coaching skills with excellent written and verbal communication abilities
High school diploma or equivalent required; associate’s degree or relevant certification preferred
Preferred Qualifications
Relevant certifications such as CPIM or Six Sigma
Experience with inventory-management systems beyond WMS
Previous involvement in continuous improvement initiatives or Lean projects
Familiarity with data analysis and reporting tools
Experience in training and mentoring peers in a warehouse setting
