Qualifications and Experience Required Education : ADN

Required Related Experience : 1 year

Required License/Registration/Certification : Registered Nurse (RN), Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification and either Certified Lactation Counselor (CLC) or International Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC)

Preferred Education/Experience : BSN preferred

Physical Requirements Must be able to lift 20 pounds; bending, stooping, and standing for extended periods.

Schedule Must be able to work three 12 hour shifts per week from 7 am until 7:30 pm and may include some weekends and holidays.

Job Summary This position provides lactation and breastfeeding support for mothers of normal newborns and mothers whose infants are in the NICU.
