Qualifications:
Active certification by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS)
Associate or Bachelor's degree with coursework in sciences and anatomy
American Heart Association BLS or ASCERT (2 years of recent relevant experience)
Key Responsibilities:
Operate imaging equipment and review images to ensure quality for diagnosis.
Identify normal and abnormal imaging results, communicate a summary to physicians, and alert them to urgent problems.
Prepare patients for procedures and educate patients throughout the ultrasound exam.
Review patient medical history, record imaging results in patient records, and coordinate care with various departments within the facility.
Compensation:
$1,880 – $2,057 per week (taxable wages + possible tax‑free reimbursements for meals, housing, and incidentals)
Tax‑free stipends may be included – discuss details with recruiter.
