$67.00 hourly (starting range $66.00/hour; may vary based on assignment and Lecture Hour Equivalent) Job Type:

Nursing & Allied Health Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree and 2 years of related professional experience OR Associate degree and 6 years of related professional experience AND BLS Instructor certification from the American Heart Association (proof of certification required) Professional experience required if applicant holds a master’s degree (must be directly related to teaching assignment) or equivalent Degrees and credits must be from accredited institutions (Title V Section 53406). Foreign degrees must be evaluated by an accredited credential evaluation service. Knowledge & Abilities
Work effectively and harmoniously with colleagues in a diverse academic environment Engage students across a wide range of skills and goals Develop curriculum in multiple modalities Participate in recruitment and articulation activities Communicate effectively orally and in writing Maintain subject‑matter currency and assess student learning outcomes Use computers and new technologies to benefit the program Commit to the California community college mission Application Instructions
