We are responsible for the growth of iconic snack foods such as FRITOS®, LAY’S®, DORITOS®, CHEETOS®, and TOSTITOS®.

The District Sales Leader will manage a sales district comprising 10‑25 Route Sales Representatives and lead a $5‑15 million dollar business.

Responsibilities

The District Sales Leader role includes a 12‑month leadership onboarding/training program.

Customized onboarding plans develop the skillset necessary for the DSL position.

The onboarding plan covers the Frito Lay Route Sales System and key cross‑functional roles across the Region Business Team.

The formal training program involves 4‑6 months of route‑level work to learn the business foundation and develop an understanding of the Direct Store Delivery (DSD) network and supply chain.

The position is in a physical work environment with variable work days/schedules.

Upon completion, DSL leads a sales district of 10‑25 RSRs and manages a $5‑15 million dollar portfolio.

All DSLs provide administrative and technical support and facilitate information to direct reports.

Compensation and Benefits

Expected compensation range: $64,300 – $107,650.

Salary will be determined by location, skills, experience, and education.

Performance‑based bonus of 15 % of annual salary, paid quarterly.

Paid time off (including parental leave, vacation, sick, and bereavement) subject to eligibility.

Eligible for mileage reimbursement per the PepsiCo Travel and Expense Policy.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree preferred; equivalent work experience required.

Highly motivated with excellent communication, negotiation, influencing, and follow‑up skills.

Minimum 2 years managing frontline employees highly preferred.

Strong leadership and communication skills required.

Proven ability to thrive in a fast‑paced, constantly changing environment.

Consumer packaged goods experience in a Direct Store Delivery environment highly preferred.

Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, and/or weekends required.

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) required.

DOT certification required during pre‑onboarding; valid driver’s license and good driving record.

Willing and able to lift up to 40 lbs. periodically.

Position limited to individuals with indefinite right to work in the United States.
