LPN Responsibilities
Valid LPN license required.
Provide bedside care, personal hygiene maintenance.
Record vital signs, collect health info, relay info between RN and physicians.
Administer oral medications & injections, test blood sugar.
Urinary catheter insertion and care.
Assist patients, monitor changes, chart and document accurately.
Ask for clarification when in doubt.
Act as role model for ancillary personnel.
Maintain patient confidentiality.
LPN Requirements
Current LPN license in state.
Up‑to‑date first aid and CPR certification.
At least one year experience in long‑term care preferred.
Knowledge of Matrixcare preferred.
