Job Description
Oversee and manage mergers and acquisitions transactions from inception to completion. Provide strategic legal advice to clients on M&A-related matters. Draft, review, and negotiate complex legal documents and contracts. Conduct due diligence and identify potential risks in transactions. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless deal execution. Stay updated on regulatory changes and industry trends impacting M&A activities. Advocate for clients in negotiations to achieve favorable outcomes. Maintain strong client relationships and provide ongoing legal guidance.

The Successful Applicant A successful candidate should have:
A Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. Bar admission and good standing in the District of Columbia. Strong knowledge of mergers and acquisitions processes and regulations. Proven ability to manage high-value transactions and meet deadlines. Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. A collaborative approach to working with clients and colleagues.
What's on Offer Base salary range of $365,000-$420,000, plus discretionary bonus. Enhanced lateral mentorship program tailored to experienced attorneys. Hybrid work model (Monday-Thursday in office) with additional remote flexibility. Comprehensive professional development resources. Robust pro bono program with billable credit for qualifying work.
