Position Overview The Program Support Specialist serves as the primary point for crisis intervention and support, coordinating program implementation and providing professional guidance to client constituencies.
Compensation & Benefits $21.00‑$25.00 per hour, based on experience.

Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree preferred
Minimum 2 years of experience working with children, including crisis intervention
Proficiency in word processing and excellent writing skills
General office skills
Must pass pre‑employment physical exam, tuberculosis and drug screening
Availability to commute to various campus sites
Physical ability to restrain children and perform tasks requiring bending, stooping, and kneeling
Must successfully complete DOJ, FBI, and Child Abuse Index checks
Insurability under corporate automobile insurance
Key Responsibilities
Follow through on commitments made to children
Provide crisis intervention/behavior management for students outside the classroom or causing significant disruption
Assist teaching teams in identifying and troubleshooting problem areas
Participate in developing behavior plans with teams
Assist with classroom and campus coverage as needed
Provide orientation to new students
Document incidents per agency policy
Supervise community day students
Supervise transitions for community and residential students
Distribute daily logs to teachers
Monitor the DVS behavior intervention program and report serious incidents to school districts per policy
Use personal cell phone for work‑related communication when agency radios and phones are unavailable
Supervise instructional assistants assigned to their buildings
Perform other related duties as assigned
