Position Summary Responsible for implementing the business plan for the area of responsibility, achieving facility goals, and ensuring operations run efficiently and safely. Duties include communicating with customers, suppliers, and associates; forecasting staffing and workload; analyzing business reports to identify operational improvements; ensuring compliance with logistics and safety standards; resolving associate, customer, and supplier concerns; supervising and developing associates and leaders; supporting hiring, promotion, coaching and evaluation; fostering a culture of belonging and inclusion; acting with integrity and promoting Walmart values; serving customers and delivering results.
Responsibilities
Communicate verbally and/or in writing with customers, suppliers, and associates.
Drive and implement the business plan for the area of responsibility to achieve facility goals such as production, quality, safety, and operational improvements.
Forecast staffing workload and performance results to meet business demands.
Prepare, review, and analyze business reports and use information to identify operational improvements.
Monitor and ensure compliance with logistics and company quality and safety standards, policies, procedures, and directives.
Identify and resolve associate, customer, and supplier concerns using own judgment or consulting others when needed.
Supervise and manage associates and leaders, giving direction, monitoring performance, and providing feedback.
Identify training and development needs and provide opportunities for learning and growth.
Teach, support, and model logistics and company policies and procedures; participate in hiring, promotion, coaching, teaching and evaluation of associates, leaders, and managers.
Build high‑performing teams and foster a culture of belonging, inclusion, and performance.
Maintain and promote integrity, ethics, and compliance, embodying Walmart values.
Deliver results with a customer‑first mindset, applying business models and data‑driven decisions.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in business or a related field (e.g., Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Financial Management, Production/Operations Management).
1 year of experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; participating in hiring and promotion of employees for multiple departments/areas.
OR 1 year of experience as a Walmart Logistics Area Manager supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing associates; managing associate workload; participating in hiring and promotion of associates.
OR 3 years of experience in an operations/distribution/logistics/retail environment supervising, evaluating, mentoring, and developing managers/supervisors; managing workload; participating in hiring and promotion of employees for multiple departments/areas.
Preferred Qualifications
Financial Modeling and Analysis.
Managing challenging workforce issues.
Modeling/Forecasting.
Preparing and executing budgets.
Profit and Loss (P&L) Accountability.
Supervising Associates.
Walmart Logistics Manager.
Bachelor degrees in Business, Finance, Logistics, Management, Operations Management.
