Base pay range: $65,000.00/yr - $80,000.00/yr.
Position Summary: You will support Walmart’s overnight stocking operations. As a Coach, you will lead and develop teams, coach associates on stocking procedures, and uphold Walmart’s high customer service and operational standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and develop teams by teaching training and actively listening to associates, providing feedback during store tours.
Communicate and collaborate with all levels of associates regarding store operations, technology initiatives, merchandising, and company direction.
Model exceptional customer service standards, follow the One Best Way (OBW) service model, and resolve customer complaints.
Drive financial performance by reviewing Profit & Loss statements, managing budgeting and forecasting, and ensuring merchandise is presented and stocked efficiently.
Manage inventory flow, seasonal transitions, and operational processes while mitigating shrink and achieving sales and profit goals.
Hire, train, mentor, and develop hourly associates; set clear expectations and recognize performance.
Ensure compliance with company policies, the Open Door Policy, and ethical standards.
Build high‑performing teams with a culture of belonging, embracing differences and fostering continuous learning.
Act with integrity, promote and practice Walmart values, and support community outreach programs.
Minimum Qualifications:
2 years of college OR 1 year retail experience and 1 year supervisory experience OR 2 years general work experience and 1 year supervisory experience.
For firearms locations, successful completion of a firearms‑specific Criminal Background Check (CBC) and Firearms Authorized Training.
For ammunition locations with state requirements, a current state‑issued Certificate of Eligibility.
Required completion of all job‑required trainings and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership or related degrees.
Certificate of Completion in People and Business Leadership.
Experience supervising 5 or more direct reports, including performance management, mentoring, hiring, and firing.
