Our programs support individuals with emotional, behavioral, and developmental challenges, including those with autism, trauma histories, or intellectual disabilities. Services include residential treatment, therapeutic foster care, outpatient counseling, crisis intervention, and community-based supports. Devereux Florida focuses on individualized, trauma‑informed care, helping youth stabilize, heal, and transition to less restrictive environments with ongoing family involvement and support.
Position Overview As the Utilization Review Coordinator at Devereux Florida, you will work with other dedicated professionals internally and externally who share your passion for helping others, and ensure a fluid collaborative Admissions and Utilization Review process for the children’s psychiatric residential treatment programs throughout the state of Florida. This position is responsible for preparing and maintaining admission utilization review on each client’s appropriateness for admission and treatment, facilitating and monitoring discharges and needed after‑care services for each individual served, and maintaining current knowledge on the multitude of funding sources and ensuring compliance with mandated requirements and standards.
Position Details Schedule: Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. This is an in‑person position.
Salary: Starts at $20.25 / hr (subject to increase based on relevant experience and education).

Qualifications Education
Bachelor's degree in behavior analysis, mental health, social work, psychology, rehabilitation, special education, or a human services field (required).
Experience
1+ year of targeted case management, medical billing/record keeping, utilization management, discharge management, or related clinical service experience (required).
Strong MS Office Suite experience (required).
Other Requirements
Valid Florida driver's license.
Successfully pass pre‑employment medical screenings which include a drug test.
