Product Connections
Overview Responsible for in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. Acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented. Prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies. Intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner. Maintain an overall professional appearance consistent with the requirements of the job.
Responsibilities
Possess the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
Proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
Properly set up and prepare the event table for execution.
Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.
Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as event execution.
Access the internet and navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents including Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms.
Qualifications
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months’ related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in using and navigating personal computer or mobile device applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Local food handlers permit may be required.
Physical Demands:
Regularly required to stand, walk, use hands and fingers, reach, talk, hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart loaded with appliances, supplies and product, prepare foods and beverages with required appliances, and be in contact with cleaning supplies.
Work Environment:
Retail store environment with limited travel.
Physical Appearance:
Professional appearance and proper grooming, meeting retailer dress code requirements as outlined in training documents.
Language Skills:
English is the primary language; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
