Product Demonstrator Part Time – 6501
Product Connections invites you to apply for the Part‑Time Product Demonstrator (ID 6501) role.
Overview:
The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. They acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented, prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies, intercept consumers and demonstrate products in a professional manner, and maintain an overall professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Pay:
$14.75–$16.00 per hour.
Responsibilities:
Possess the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.
Desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.
Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.
Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.
Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe workstation using cleaning chemicals.
Maintain a professional appearance consistent with job requirements.
Properly set up and prepare the Event Table for execution.
Achieve 100 % execution on assigned work.
Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.
Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.
Complete expense reports as per Company Policy.
Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as Event execution.
Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents, including Microsoft Word & Adobe PDF forms.
Maximum 25 hours per week, although the company may adjust hours based on business needs.
Qualifications:
Education/Experience:
High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in using a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:
Local Food Handlers permit may be required.
Physical Demands:
Stand and walk, use hands and fingers, reach up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb steps, balance, lift up to 25 lb (occasionally 50 lb), push/pull a wheeled demonstration cart, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, contact cleaning supplies.
Work Environment:
Retail store environment with limited travel.
Language Skills:
English primary; bilingual may be required.
