Base Pay Range $15.00/hr - $16.00/hr

Overview The Associate is responsible for completing in‑store food and non‑food demonstrations. They acquire and maintain knowledge of products represented and prepare, serve, and break down product, equipment, and supplies. The Associate intercepts consumers and demonstrates products in a professional manner while maintaining an overall professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.

Responsibilities

Possesses the aptitude and ability to gain adequate knowledge of the products represented.

Has desire and ability to proactively intercept, engage, interact, and sell product to the consumer in a positive manner.

Effectively communicate the features and benefits of the product.

Prepare and serve food samples using small appliances such as microwaves, fryers, skillets, coffee makers, and knives.

Maintain a clean, sterile, and safe work station using cleaning chemicals.

Maintain a professional appearance consistent with the job requirements.

Properly set up and prepare Event Table for execution.

Achieve 100% execution on assigned work.

Assist with preparation for client visits and complete audit corrections.

Build and maintain rapport with store personnel to effectively meet company and client objectives.

Complete expense reports per Company Policy.

Accurately prepare and submit all online requirements on the same day as Event execution.

Access the internet, navigate company electronic systems, use Microsoft Outlook, and view assigned documents such as Microsoft Word and Adobe PDF forms.

This role is not expected to exceed 25 hours per week, although the company reserves the discretion to change the role based on business needs.

Qualifications Education/Experience:

High school diploma or GED; or one to three months of related experience and/or training preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Computer Skills:

Proficient in using and navigating a personal computer or mobile device with applications and internal systems.

Certificates, Licenses, Registrations:

Local food handlers permit may be required.

Physical Demands:

The Associate will regularly stand and walk, use hands and fingers, reach overhead up to 65 inches, talk and hear, read instructions, stoop, kneel, squat, climb or step up a ladder, balance, lift and carry up to 25 pounds (occasionally up to 50 pounds), push and pull a wheeled demonstration cart, prepare foods and beverages using required appliances, and contact cleaning supplies.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

None.

Work Environment:

Retail store environment with limited travel.

Physical Appearance:

The Associate must ensure a professional appearance and proper grooming, following specific retailer dress code requirements.

Language Skills:

English is the primary language skill; bilingual skills may be required based on business necessity.
