Capital One’s Small Business Bank (SBB) division helps small businesses grow through personalized advice and tailored financial products. The Sr. Process Manager, Lending Platforms (Hybrid) role supports efforts to define, configure, and optimize destination‑state experiences for associates and customers across the loan origination platform.
Responsibilities
Partner cross‑functionally with stakeholders to provide strategic and tactical thought partnership to effectively drive business outcomes.
Support platform optimization and configuration vision and assist with requirements gathering, story writing, prioritizing, and execution in a complex, dynamic environment.
Advocate for and represent the voice of internal and external customers to influence organizational objectives, roadmaps, and the overall customer experience.
Ensure projects are delivered on time and on budget while simultaneously managing risk.
Build credibility and trust within the team, with customers, and with stakeholders.
Apply strong communication skills to influence business decisions and inspire breakthrough results.
Use data to uncover opportunities, track platform and process performance, and influence decision making.
Analyze results and drivers to identify and implement continuous improvement efforts.
Drive transformational improvements in the customer experience and process.
Own the end‑to‑end reporting suite within the loan origination platform—interpreting existing reports, identifying data gaps or opportunities for new metrics, and developing custom reporting to support business goals.
Stay current with platform enhancements to optimize reporting capabilities and ensure stakeholders have timely, accurate, and actionable insights.

Excellent communicator—verbal and written skills critical to day‑to‑day work.
Risk management—responsibility for running a well‑managed horizontal operation that is audit ready.
Intellectual curiosity—ask why, explore underlying issues, and create solutions in a fast‑paced live operation environment.
Data‑savvy—adept at using Excel or Google Sheets PivotTables, functions, formulas, and conditional formatting to analyze, explore, and present summary data.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent military experience.
At least 2 years of Project Management or Process Management experience.
At least 2 years of SaaS Platform Administration experience.
At least 2 years of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets experience.
Preferred Qualifications
At least 3 years of Project Management or Process Management experience.
At least 3 years of SaaS Platform Administration experience.
At least 3 years of Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets experience.
Compensation and Benefits
Plano, TX: $78,400 – $89,500
Richmond, VA: $78,400 – $89,500
Additional compensation may include performance‑based incentive compensation (cash bonus(es) and/or long‑term incentives).
