Job Summary The Alchemy Trainer is responsible for delivering accurate and consistent training for production employees using the Alchemy learning platform. This role ensures employees understand safety, quality, and operational expectations and supports both onboarding and ongoing development. The individual will also be responsible for executing Learning & Development initiatives.
Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing, food production, or training (preferred).
Strong communication and presentation skills.
Comfortable leading groups and providing hands‑on demonstrations.
Basic computer skills and ability to learn Alchemy devices quickly.
Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
Ability to work in a fast‑paced production environment.

Training Delivery
Deliver Alchemy training sessions to new hires and current employees.
Facilitate using the Alchemy platform, in person, and virtual training.
Lead classroom and hands‑on training using remotes, tablets, and scanners.
Engage employees through clear instruction, coaching, and Q&A.
Support supervisors and leads in navigating Alchemy tools and learning plans.
Training Administration
Assign learning plans and maintain accurate training records in the Alchemy LMS.
Track completion, compliance, and overdue training.
Troubleshoot basic Alchemy device or system issues.
Prepare training reports for L&D Manager and site leadership.
Production Floor Support
Reinforce training through on‑the‑floor coaching and observation.
Provide immediate feedback or retraining when needed.
Assist supervisors with cross‑training and skill development initiatives.
Continuous Improvement
Identify training gaps or trends and recommend improvements.
Provide feedback on training content, delivery, and engagement.
Support development of supplemental training materials as needed.
Work Environment
The job is carried out in a professional office setting and involves using standard office equipment like laptops, desk phones, and smartphones. Regular visits to production facilities may also be required. During those visits, the employee is occasionally exposed to cold and/or humid conditions. The employee occasionally works near moving mechanical parts. The employee is occasionally exposed to fumes or airborne particles, cold temperatures, electrical shock and vibration risks. The noise level in the work environment is moderate.
Physical Demands
Employees must be able to stand, walk, or sit; use their hands for tasks; reach with their arms; and communicate verbally. Occasional lifting or moving objects is necessary, along with close, distance, color vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
The role requires standing and walking for extended periods, often over eight hours per shift. The employee must be able to use hands, fingers, arms, and reach as part of daily tasks. The position involves lifting and moving up to 25 pounds regularly and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Visual requirements include the ability to see up close, at a distance, and to adjust focus. Repetitive movement, bending, twisting, and climbing may be required.
