The Role From machine operators to maintenance technicians to quality inspectors, our teams help protect what matters most—making everyday life safer, smarter, and more sustainable.
Schedule
Work only 15 days per month with our unique 2-2-3 schedule.
Work: Monday & Tuesday – Off: Wednesday & Thursday – Work: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday.
Off: Monday & Tuesday – Work: Wednesday & Thursday – Off: Friday, Saturday, & Sunday.
12‑hour static shifts (Nights – 8:00 pm – 8:00 am).
What You'll Do
Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair plastic extrusion lines and blown film machines.
Visually inspect, test, diagnose, and troubleshoot faulty equipment.
Perform preventative maintenance on all plant equipment. Install new or repaired parts to keep machines running at a high standard.
Read and interpret equipment manuals and schematic prints (electrical, pneumatic, and mechanical) to perform required maintenance and service.
Work effectively and efficiently with production and senior leadership to solve problems.
Work as a team player to reach consistent output goals.
Maintain a safe workspace and commit to following CNG’s Safety Mission.
Use office programs, specifically Excel.
Utilize Maintenance Software System (MVP).
What You’ll Bring Essential Qualifications
Ability to work 12‑hour shifts and lift up to 65 pounds.
Basic mechanical aptitude and comfort with measuring tools.
Strong communication skills and positive attitude.
Willingness to learn and adapt in a technical environment.
Ability to pass pre‑employment drug screening.
Driven team‑player who is eager to learn.
Two years of technical school training in Industrial Maintenance, Machine Repair, Automated Systems, or other similar skilled trades is desired, along with 2 or more years of verifiable work experience in related fields.
Experience with PLCs, drives, and industrial controls is desired.
Work schedule flexibility includes 12‑hour shifts and some weekends with the possibility of on‑call status.
Has a career‑oriented mindset aiming to grow personally and professionally.
A sound decision‑maker and problem‑solver who is ready to go above and beyond.
A strong understanding of our safety mission and its importance.
Demonstrated skill in organizing work and setting priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
2‑5 years of plastic extrusion experience.
Basic computer knowledge.
Previous manufacturing experience.
Compensation & Benefits Starting Salary
Wages ranging from $25.00+ per hour, dependent on experience.
Additional $2.50 per hour night shift differential.
