Job Description The Patient Services Representative I represents the face of the company to patients as part of their routine care or for important health insights. This role is responsible for drawing quality blood samples and preparing specimens for laboratory testing while following established procedures. The role involves direct patient interaction, creating an atmosphere of trust and confidence by explaining procedures and performing blood draws in a safe, accurate, and professional manner. The position emphasizes leadership behaviors, process excellence, confidentiality, and accuracy of patient information. Responsibilities Perform daily activities accurately and on time under the direction of the area supervisor. Maintain a safe and professional working environment. Perform forensic and clinical specimen collection and processing duties in accordance with established practices and procedures. Maintain required records and documentation. Demonstrate organizational commitment and promote a positive image to patients, clients, employees, and the public. Requirements\u0020/\u0020Must Have Ability to provide quality, error-free work in a fast-paced environment. Ability to work independently with minimal on-site supervision. Excellent phlebotomy skills, including pediatric and geriatric collections. Flexibility and availability based on staffing needs, including weekends, holidays, on-call, and overtime. Strong customer service orientation. Keyboard and data entry skills. Experience Minimum of 6 months of phlebotomy experience. One or more years of phlebotomy experience preferred. Customer service experience in a retail or service environment preferred. Qualifications And Education High school diploma or equivalent. Medical assistant or paramedic training preferred.
