Maintenance Manager – Distribution Facility
$85,000 – $115,000 base + $13,000 bonus + ~$3,700 stock

Position Snapshot Lead maintenance operations in a
state-of-the-art distribution facility utilizing industrial ammonia refrigeration systems .
You’ll own reliability, compliance, and team performance — ensuring every system runs safely, efficiently, and cost-effectively.
What You’ll Do
Lead and develop the maintenance team — set priorities, coach, and conduct performance reviews.
Oversee all
ammonia refrigeration, utilities, and facility systems , ensuring uptime and regulatory compliance.
Manage
EPA, OSHA, PSM, and RMP
programs related to ammonia refrigeration.
Plan, budget, and execute
capital improvement projects
for equipment and technology upgrades.
Partner cross-functionally on preventive/predictive maintenance programs, training, and scheduling.
Drive
root-cause analysis
and continuous improvement initiatives across utilities and refrigeration systems.
Monitor and control maintenance budgets, inventory, and supplier relationships.
What You’ll Bring
Hands‑on experience with industrial ammonia refrigeration systems is required
(PSM/RMP environments).
Bachelor’s degree
or
equivalent technical experience (Engineering preferred).
Experience as a
Plant Engineer, Maintenance Planner, or Refrigeration Supervisor
a plus.
CMMS proficiency and strong Microsoft Office skills.
Proven leadership ability — motivating, training, and developing skilled maintenance teams.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Willingness to travel independently (up to 20%).
