Position Description
Temporary Warehouse Material Handler (Immediate Hiring) – Ryder, Ladson, South Carolina
Pay: $19.00 per hour (overtime $28.50). Schedule: Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 4:00 am‑2:30 pm. Work is paid weekly and includes on‑job training, safety gear, and state‑of‑the‑art equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Load, pick, pack, ship, receive, and cycle‑count products.
Operate standard reach forklift and tugger.
Maintain accurate paperwork (picking sheets, returns, bills of lading).
Provide technical and maintenance support for automated packing systems during core shift hours.
Adhere to performance measurement guidelines and fulfill other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent (preferred).
One year or more related warehouse and/or powered industrial truck experience (preferred).
Valid forklift operator’s license, certified.
Strong verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a diverse team.
High level of initiative, accuracy, and attendance.
Ability to lift and/or push/pull up to 35 lbs, stand for extended periods, and work safely.
Flexible to work various shifts.
Detail‑oriented with excellent follow‑up practices.
