Rehabilitation Technician - Oak Lawn - Physical/Occupational Therapy
Position Highlights
Full-Time, 30-40 hours/week
Hours: Monday 10:00am-5:00pm; Tuesday 12:00pm-7:00pm; Wednesday 10:00am-5:00pm; Thursday 12:00pm-7:00pm; Friday TBD
Location: Oak Lawn
Travel: Expected to travel to other sites for coverage

Responsibilities
Provide patient care, support and guidance under the supervision of the Clinic Director
Execute plans of care guided by PT/OT providers, including proper setup and adjustment of exercise equipment and modalities
Utilize educational techniques to ensure patient understanding of exercises and monitor safety and response to exercise intensity, discussing performance with PT/OT provider
Oversee clinic flow: monitor patient arrivals, start patients on time, maintain cleanliness of clinic and equipment, and order supplies under Manager direction
Perform front‑end tasks: check‑in, collect co‑pay/financial responsibility, answer phones, schedule future appointments, manage patient confirmations and rescheduling, and communicate with PT/OT and Chiropractic referral teams regarding insurance benefits
Qualifications
CPR certification required (certification offered through Duly Health and Care)
High School Diploma
Knowledge of common medical terminology and abbreviations
Understand principles, contraindications, and precautions in the use of therapy modalities
Ability to identify proper patient setup on equipment and adjust it
Identify planes of movement and demonstrate proper exercise positioning
Team‑oriented, with strong attention to detail and follow‑through
Problem‑solving, lateral thinking, and reasoning skills
Excellent communication skills
Compensation The compensation for this role includes a base pay range of $15.10‑22.70 with the actual pay determined by factors such as skills, experience, education, certifications, geographic location, and internal equity. Additional compensation may be available through shift differentials, bonuses, and other incentives. Base pay is only a portion of the total rewards package.
