Job Summary
Accounts Payable Coordinator
– Entry level position that processes transactions accurately and provides financial, administrative, and clerical support. Responsibilities include ensuring payments complete, expenses are controlled, invoices are verified, processed, reconciled, and that all activities comply with established policies and procedures in an efficient, timely, and accurate manner.
Job Type: Full-Time. Position is on‑site for the first 2 months, then HYBRID after two months.
Job Qualifications
High school diploma required.
No experience required.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Solid understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting payable principles.
Effective communication skills to maintain positive relationships with residents, families, staff, physicians, consultants, providers, governmental agencies, and the community.
Job Responsibilities
Perform day‑to‑day financial transactions: verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording accounts payable data.
Process bills, invoices, and bank deposits.
Reconcile the accounts payable ledger to ensure all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
Verify discrepancies and resolve clients’ billing issues.
Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending reminders and contacting clients.
Generate financial statements and reports detailing accounts payable status.
Resolve customer requests, questions, and complaints; provide information to improve customer service.
Conduct inquiries on customer satisfaction and report information using recommended tools and forms.
Develop and maintain office forms and procedures and assist with administrative tasks.
Answer central telephone system and direct calls accordingly.
Prepare outgoing mail; sort and distribute incoming mail.
Duplicate and distribute materials.
Compose, type, and edit correspondence, reports, memoranda, and other material.
Serve as a role model to foster superb customer service.
Complete clerical work for administrative personnel; open, deliver, and forward mail; transcribe materials; record appointments and meetings for administrative staff; file necessary documents.
Alert specified individuals and agencies in case of emergencies; assemble material for reports and questionnaires.
Perform routine clerical, secretarial and administrative work: answering telephones, providing customer assistance, data processing, and record‑keeping.
