Sr. Maintenance Technician – Facilities Niagara Bottling

is looking for a skilled Technician to ensure equipment uptime through timely troubleshooting and repair of all production equipment.

Responsibilities

Adhere to and enforce highest safety and good manufacturing practice standards plant-wide.

Train and lead Operators, Mechanics and Supervisors on technical procedures related to high‑speed bottle manufacturing and packaging.

Partner with plant leadership to develop and execute continuous improvement projects and resolve reoccurring problems.

Rapidly identify machine problems to minimize downtime and conduct root‑cause analysis to prevent reoccurrence.

Use software systems to analyze and drive throughput performance.

Lead overhaul efforts to rebuild equipment to like‑new status during planned downtime.

Develop operating and troubleshooting procedures for bottling processes and injection technology, including blow molding, filling/capping, labeling, and case packaging.

Transfer knowledge to maintain staff, ensuring reliable operations and maintaining plant uptime.

Maintain regular attendance and on‑call availability as required.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Minimum 6 years of experience in a maintenance manufacturing environment.

Experience with injection molding, blow molding, filling/capping, labeling, or packaging equipment.

Strong ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics.

Proficiency with shop equipment (presses, grinders, lathes, drills) and precision measuring tools.

Lead and train team members on troubleshooting and preventive maintenance.

Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).

Preferred: 10+ years in maintenance manufacturing, 6+ years in project management, 1+ year in leading maintenance teams.

Preferred: Experience with Krones, Husky, Sidel, or similar bottling equipment.

Education

High School Diploma or GED required.

Associate’s Degree in manufacturing technology, mechatronics, or related field preferred.

Compensation Hourly: $38.95 – $55.51
