Position Overview:

Cashier responsible for operating a specified parking lot by performing cash transactions and providing excellent customer service. The Cashier ensures proper ticket handling and guest payments while delivering service that exceeds our customer/client’s expectations. The Cashier is responsible for taking payments and assisting guests as they enter or exit the property. The Cashier works closely with fellow team members, Operation Manager, and/or Shift Supervisor to ensure that cash handling procedures as well as safety standards are met at all times.

Key Responsibilities

Perform cash transactions with accuracy and precision.

Keep cash organized and aware of cash on hand.

Keep cash and tickets sorted throughout the day.

Prepare cash control/summary sheets accurately and neatly.

Report overages and shortages.

Plan ahead to have adequate change on hand.

Complete all Reimagined documents completely, accurately, and neatly.

Maintain a neat and organized work environment.

Clean and organize the interior of booth; clean booth windows.

Wipe down signage and equipment to keep free of vandalism and graffiti.

Walk through parking lot to pick up garbage and change bags in garbage cans.

Ensure supplies are properly stacked and organized.

Maintain a safe and secure work environment.

Lock windows and doors and secure cash when leaving booth.

Secure monies and control sheets by depositing in secure bag before deposit.

Report odd occurrences or suspicious activity to supervisor.

Be punctual and punch timecards at shift start and end.

Adhere to Reimagined Parking dress code.

Follow all company policies and procedures.

Resolve customer complaints efficiently.

Provide exceptional customer service by being pleasant, courteous, and helpful.

Greet arriving and departing guests in a friendly manner.

Use respectful communication to assist guests with questions, problems, or concerns; relay information to shift or Operations Manager as needed.

Issue or collect visitor parking tickets.

Match visitor ticket forms when original tickets cannot be located.

Perform daily reconciliation of receipts, cash, and charges; account for all funds in drawer.

Perform revenue drops following location procedures.

Maintain clean, orderly, safe work area in and around booth.

Answer telephone promptly and courteously, when required.

Immediately report accidents, incidents or safety concerns to Operations Manager or Shift Lead.

Communicate professionally at all times with guests, client, and teammates.

Other duties as assigned.

Skills, Knowledge & Experience

Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Verbal communication proficiency with guests.

Quick learner, sound decision making in fast‑paced environments.

Minimum age 18.

Basic math skills.

Experience with cash handling an asset.

Previous customer service experience preferred.
