Construction Materials Field Tech/Inspector

Hourly Rate:
Starting at $25.00/hr with no experience, up to $30.00/hr for seasoned technicians.
Sign‑on Bonus:
$1,000 for all new hires.

Responsibilities
Conduct field observations at jobsites in the regional area.
Sample and test construction materials such as soil, aggregates, concrete, grout, masonry, asphalt and structural steel.
Prepare accurate daily logs detailing inspections and test results.
Communicate daily with the project manager or operations manager regarding project progress or contractor issues.
Requirements
Reliable vehicle and valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
Ability to lift or move 60–80 pounds and work in all outdoor climates.
Strong attention to detail, safety compliance and quality focus.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Proficient use of a company‑provided tablet and basic MS Office functions.
Basic math proficiency and measurement‑tool use.
With training, ability to read and interpret plans, specifications, safety rules, operating instructions and procedure manuals.
Valid pre‑employment criteria per company policies.
Hiring Preference
Experienced technicians with verifiable certifications such as ACI, ICC, NICET, NJ DCA, etc.
