We are seeking a
Housekeeper / Laundry Aide
to join our team at Optalis of Grand Rapids located at 1950 32nd St SE, Grand Rapids MI, 49508. The Housekeeper/Laundry Aide will be responsible for maintaining a clean and sanitary environment for our residents and ensuring that all laundry is cleaned and folded properly.
Responsibilities
Clean and sanitize resident rooms, common areas, and other designated areas
Ensure that all laundry is cleaned, folded, and put away properly
Assist with meal service and clean up as needed
Report any maintenance issues or concerns to the appropriate personnel
Follow all safety and infection control procedures
Other duties as assigned
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Prior housekeeping and laundry experience preferredAbility to work independently and as part of a team
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
Must be able to work weekends and holidays as needed
