Job Summary
The Housekeeper is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of vacant apartments and community common areas. This role requires regular physical activity and the ability to perform cleaning duties efficiently while following company standards, safety policies, and procedures.

Responsibilities
Clean vacant apartments in preparation for new resident move-ins
Maintain cleanliness of community common areas, including the leasing office, clubhouse, laundry facilities, and storage rooms
Perform trash-outs and deep cleaning of vacated units as needed
Assist with make‑ready preparations as directed
Complete cleaning tasks efficiently and according to company standards
Work collaboratively with the on‑site team to support property operations
Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Work overtime, weekends, evenings, and holidays as required
Perform additional duties as assigned by the Property Manager
Safety & Training Responsibilities
Comply with WGA Legacy’s safety and risk‑management policies
Attend and participate in required safety meetings and training
Complete OSHA and other required safety training
Immediately report accidents, injuries, or incidents according to company procedures
Remain current on all required training and meetings
Physical Requirements
Standing, walking, bending, reaching, lifting, and carrying items throughout the workday
Working both indoors and outdoors within the community
Working in awkward or confined positions as needed
Vision Requirements
Constant ability (66%–100% of the time) to read labels, instructions, and documentation
Ability to see small details when performing cleaning tasks
Frequent ability (33%–60% of the time) to see clearly beyond arm’s reach
Hearing & Speaking Requirements
Constant ability (66%–100% of the time) to communicate with supervisors, team members, vendors, and residents
Ability to follow verbal instructions and communicate concerns clearly
Working Environment
Indoors the majority of the time (66%–100%)
Frequent outdoor work (33%–66%) in varying weather conditions
Occasional exposure (1%–33%) to cleaning chemicals, paint fumes, solvents, and similar materials
Reasoning Ability
Moderate reasoning skills required
Ability to follow standardized procedures and apply logical thinking to routine tasks
Ability to work independently while following direction
Skills & Qualifications
Knowledge of general housekeeping and cleaning practices
Experience maintaining curb appeal preferred
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong attention to detail
Reliable attendance and time management
