Responsibilities
Operate shuttle buses safely and efficiently, transporting passengers to their destinations.
Deliver an exceptional client and customer experience, guided by the SP+ Promise, answering questions, giving directions, and ensuring positive interactions.
Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.
Maintain an on‑time presence in uniform for every scheduled day.
Carry a valid state‑issued driver’s license at all times while on duty and maintain an acceptable DMV record.
Report known accidents, policy violations, safety hazards, or unusual occurrences to the Facility Manager.
Communicate debris, spills, and other concerns to the garage office.
Substitute for cashiers or valets when authorized.
Know all areas of the garage, major streets, landmarks, and freeways nearby to assist customers.
Assist customers with luggage and other items, especially at airport locations.
Support the Facility Manager with additional duties as needed.
Qualifications Education / Experience : Less than high school education or one month related experience, training or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
License Requirement : Valid CDL Class A, B, or C driver’s license with Passenger Endorsement.
DOT Medical Card : A Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.
Availability : May be required to work 3rd shift and/or weekends depending on location.
Language Skills : Ability to read, write, and present information effectively in one‑on‑one situations to customers and employees.
Mathematical Skills : Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide two‑digit numbers and American dollars.
Appearance : Maintain a neat, clean appearance and be in uniform at all times.
Physical Demands : Stand, walk, use hands for cash and equipment; occasionally sit, balance, and lift up to 75 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be provided.
Salary Range $28.00–$30.00 per hour
