Responsibilities

Goes above and beyond to deliver an exceptional client and customer experience that is guided by the SP+ Promise, including answering questions, offering city directions, and ensuring each customer interaction is a positive experience.

Perform vehicle inspections, maintain cleanliness of bus interiors, fuel buses, log trip counts, and assist disabled passengers.

Be present at work every scheduled day, on time and in uniform.

Possess a valid state‑issued driver's license, carried with the driver at all times while on duty.

Maintain an acceptable DMV record.

Report any known accidents, observed or suspected violations of company policy, safety hazards or any unusual occurrence to the Facility Manager.

Communicate debris, water, oil spills, and other hazards to the garage office.

Substitute for cashiers or valets when necessary, if authorized.

Have thorough knowledge of the garage and surrounding area, major streets, landmarks and freeways to assist customers in a seamless transportation experience.

Assist customers with luggage and other traveling items, if applicable (e.g., operating shuttle buses at an airport location).

Assist the Facility Manager with other duties as needed.

Qualifications

Education/Experience: Less than high‑school education or one month of related experience, training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

License: Valid CDL Class A, B or C driver’s license with Passenger Endorsement, as required by DOT regulations.

DOT Medical Card: A valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Medical Card) is required.

Availability: Ability to work required shifts, including 3rd shift and/or weekends if applicable.

Language Skills: Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; to write simple correspondence; and to present information effectively in one‑on‑one situations.

Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide two‑digit numbers, and perform operations with U.S. monetary units.

Appearance: Maintain a neat and clean appearance and be in complete uniform at all times.

Physical Demands: Regularly stand, walk, and use hands to handle cash and equipment; occasionally sit, climb, balance, and lift or move up to 75 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made.

Salary & Benefits Salary Range: $28.00–$30.00 per hour

Benefits: Eligible employees will participate in various benefit plans including medical, dental, vision, flexible spending accounts, long/short‑term disability, life insurance, accident insurance, 401(k) and paid time off.
