Job Description The Security Officer is responsible for the security of hospital employees, patients/families, visitors, and property. This includes fire prevention and initial response measures, maintaining safety practices in the area of assignment, overseeing the Security Operations Center (SOC) and conducting duties associated with the metal detector.
Responsibilities
Ensure security of employees, patients/families, visitors, and property.
Perform fire prevention and initial response.
Maintain safety practices within assigned area.
Oversee the Security Operations Center (SOC).
Conduct duties related to the metal detector.
Qualifications
High school graduate or equivalent required.
Previous related security experience preferred.
Valid driver’s license required.
Driving record in good standing required.
Fingerprints and Child Abuse Clearance required.
