Base Pay Range
$15.00/hr – $15.00/hr
Direct Support Professional (DSP) Direct support professional is responsible for a variety of duties related to the overall care of individuals with developmental disabilities who reside in Angelwood’s residential group homes and attend the adult day training program. This includes direct care, implementation of Individual Program Plans, and behavior plans. Professionals perform all duties in accordance with State of Florida’s regulations and Angelwood’s policies and procedures. Primary responsibilities include assisting with self‑care and daily living activities, assisting individuals in the pursuit of recreational, social, and community activities, and safely transporting people to participate in meaningful day activities.

Transport individuals safely to meaningful day activities.
Requirements
At least one year of experience providing care or support to individuals in healthcare, education, social services, childcare, or similar fields where interpersonal care and responsibility are central.
High School Diploma or equivalency.
Be at least 18 years of age.
Have a valid Florida Driver’s license.
Pass a background check.
Complete and pass the Medication Administration Validation process, Professional Crisis Management, and CPR.
