Job Description and Duties Under the direct supervision of the School Principal (or designee) and the operational direction of the Senior Librarian, the Library Technical Assistant (LTA) is responsible for operating a leisure book distribution service in the Reception Center housing units. The LTA maintains order, supervises conduct, and protects the safety of persons and property related to the library operation. Key responsibilities include:
Inventory management and inventory reconciliation.
Preparation and submission of library reports and record keeping.
Ensuring compliance with safety protocols and an orderly environment in the library area.
Working Conditions North Kern State Prison, Delano, CA
Minimum Requirements Minimum qualifications are detailed in the Class Specification. Candidates must meet these qualifications to be considered.
