Preschool Substitute Teacher / Head Start
Academic Year / Part Time
Location Classrooms located in Torrington, Winsted, Plymouth, Watertown, and New Milford
Compensation $13.00 per hour
Flexible schedule. Hours as needed, between 7:30 am – 5:00 pm
Prerequisites All new hires must be vaccinated and show proof of vaccination.
Major Responsibilities
The Substitute Teacher works with other classroom teachers to provide a developmentally appropriate classroom experience for children.
Other duties as may be assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of a High School Diploma or equivalent.
Experience working with preschool‑aged children.
Ability to work as a team member.
Ability to maintain confidentiality about issues related to children and their families.
Salary/Hours
$13.00 per hour
