As a
Sales Trainee , you’ll begin your career journey by learning the foundations of recruitment and sales, gaining hands‑on experience in a supportive, growth‑oriented environment. With the guidance of seasoned professionals and a structured, progressive training path, you’ll have everything you need to succeed as you grow into an
Account Executive
role.
What You’ll Do Phase 1: Learn the fundamentals of the Medix recruiting process
Identify qualified candidates through a number of creative outlets (i.e. job boards, networking groups, etc.)
Assess candidates through phone screening, virtual interviewing, skills testing, and reference checks
Held to weekly quotas for phone screening, virtual interviewing, reference checks, weekly resume submissions, etc.
Obtain and generate sales leads
Participate in weekly progress meetings to determine product knowledge
Participate in sales role plays
Participate in progress meetings to determine product and sales knowledge
Attend meetings with current account executives through shadowing
Continue to participate in weekly progress meetings, coaching, role plays, etc.
Cold call to set new meetings
Build out territory with potential clients and identify prospects
Maintain and develop relationships with new and potential clients by building a strong network (joining associations, networking groups, social media, etc.)
Obtain and generate sales leads and set new meetings with potential clients through cold calling, emails, messaging etc.
Effectively sell Medix staffing services
Develop and execute a territory plan
Negotiate client contracts
Assist, develop, and manage a team of recruiters
Held to weekly quotas for reachouts, cold calls, meetings, etc.
Serve as point of contact for candidates and clients by resolving any issues that may arise
Who You Are
A positive, service‑oriented attitude with a passion for helping others
Strong communication skills (both written and verbal)
Competitive mindset with a drive to succeed
Proven initiative and the ability to self‑motivate
Multitasking and time‑management skills to thrive in a fast‑paced environment
A strong interest in working within a results‑driven culture, where you’ll meet and exceed visible KPIs
Bachelor’s Degree (preferred, but not required)
No sales experience? No problem! We welcome motivated individuals with a growth mindset—whether you’re a recent graduate or transitioning from another industry.
How You’ll Be Evaluated
Recruiting Performance:
Meeting weekly/monthly quotas for candidate sourcing, interviews, and placements.
Sales Development:
Achieving activity goals like cold calls, meetings set, and role‑play completion.
Client Engagement:
Building a pipeline of clients, setting meetings, and generating leads.
Sales Impact:
Exceeding sales quotas, contributing to revenue growth, and collaborating effectively with the team.
