Environmental Services Team currently has an
full time, 7:30a-4:00pm, Monday thru Friday
opening for a
Housekeeper
for our Nursing Care Center. The Housekeeper will promote quality of life and wellness by ensuring continued safe, sanitary and homelike conditions in the Care Center and Community Center. Reporting to the Environmental Operations Manager, the Housekeeper must be capable of working with people of all ages and races, having direct contact with staff, residents, guests, as well as supervisory and administrative positions. This role will have the responsibility for including but not limited to: Dusting (high and low) Vacuuming Wet and dry mopping floors Washing windows, walls, counters, doors and baseboards Disinfecting and cleaning bathrooms and kitchens Stripping, waxing and buffing floors Top scrubbing carpets Stripping and redressing beds Restocking supplies Trash removal and recycling Qualifications and Experience
Must possess effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to understand written and oral communications. Prior experience in a health care center highly preferred. Detail oriented with a basic knowledge or housekeeping chemicals, equipment and cleaning/operating techniques. Must have a pleasant personality capable of contending with all people in a cooperative, helpful manner. Ability to walk, climb, bend, push, stoop, pull, crawl, lift and carry weights up to 50 pounds. Qualifications Behaviors
